Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has announced that it has appointed AXIS’ Peter Mondi as Head of Distribution Management, North America.
In his new role, Mondi will lead a team responsible for the broker engagement and strategy for the US and Canada.
Mondi, who is based in Chicago, IL, will report to Allen Kwan – Head of Customer & Distribution North America.
He joins Swiss Re after an eight month stint at AXIS Capital, where he served as Strategic Broker Relationship Leader, Global Distribution.
Prior to that, he spent over three years at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), where he held the role of Distribution Manager, Midwest Zone, for two years, before later being promoted to Senior Distribution Director, North America.
Moreover, Mondi also previously spent over seven years of service at Liberty Mutual Insurance. He joined the firm in 2012 working within its human resources development program, before later working within Market Analytics in 2013.
In 2015, he was then named Commercial Lines Territory Manager, and would serve in this role for two years until he was appointed to Field Operations Consultant.
Addressing Mondi’s appointment, Kwan said: “I’m confident that Peter’s strong distribution experience and expertise will increase our ability to provide exceptional solutions for our brokers.”
