Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (Swiss Re CorSo), the commercial insurance arm of reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has announced the appointment of Sergio Bunin as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mexico, effective January 15th, 2020.
Bunin has worked in the industry for more than three decades and has spent the majority of his time working for international companies.
He brings deep commercial experience to the role and has a solid history of scaling organisations through both organic and inorganic growth.
Bunin previously served as Head of Latin America / Asia at Talanx International AG, which recently became HDI International. In this role, he built the firm’s Latin America business and led successful acquisitions in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Uruguay.
He has previously served as President and CEO of TAPAUS and also as President of the National Reinsurance Institute.
