Global reinsurance giant Swiss Re has announced the appointment of Pravina Ladva to the newly created position of Group Digital Transformation Officer, effective July 1st, 2020.
In addition to her new responsibilities related to driving Swiss Re’s global digital transformation agenda, Ladva will also continue to serve as Chief Technology and Operations Officer for the Life Capital unit, a position she has held since May 2017.
Before Swiss Re, Ladva established a successful career in the financial tech space, assuming complex roles with responsibility for strategy, delivery, and results.
Swiss Re notes that during her career she has managed both direct and virtual teams of up to 400 staff, and also multimillion-pound budgets for international entities.
Between 2008 and 2017, Ladva held numerous positions at Barclaycard, including COO Digital Marketplace and CIO Barclaycard Business Solutions. During her time with Barclaycard, she led B2B and B2B2C tech and change teams.
