Global reinsurance giant Swiss Re has appointed Lloyd Campbell-Gibson as its Head of Life & Health (L&H) for Australia and New Zealand.
Michael Paff currently serves in the role, on an interim basis and will transition to the role of Head of Client Management L&H Australia and New Zealand.
Gibson has over three decades of global insurance experience, having served as Swiss Re’s Head of L&H Claims US since 2016. Before that, he held the positions of Head of Pricing in Africa and the Head of L&H Client Markets in Africa at Swiss Re, successfully leading pricing strategies and market growth initiatives across the continent.
He started his career as an Actuary at South Africa-domiciled, Old Mutual in 1993, subsequently spending 15 years at the company.
Swiss Re explains that Gibson is recognised for his ability to drive results and lead diverse teams across multiple countries and insurance disciplines.
