Swiss Re targets enhanced user experience with TCS partnership

Global reinsurer Swiss Re has broadened its partnership with international IT services, consulting, and business solutions organisation, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), in an effort to drive greater collaboration and innovation across the business.

Swiss ReTCS is part of the Tata group, India’s largest multinational business group, and also a Microsoft Gold Partner, leveraging its own Microsoft Business Unit in order to accelerate clients’ cloud transformation journey.

As part of their expanded relationship, which goes back 18 years, TCS will help the reinsurer to further develop its future-ready, cloud-based digital workplace using Microsoft tech and manage the underlying operations.

Together, Swiss Re and TCS will work to deliver a persona-based, insights-driven user experience for more than 18,000 end-users.

TCS will help Swiss Re improve operational excellence via modern, streamlined processes across the end-to-end workplace support function by bringing automation and implementing DevOps best practices.

Reportedly, one of the key areas of focus will be the drive forward the innovation pipeline within Swiss Re, specifically in the areas of immersive experiences and artificial intelligence with the assistance of edge technologies in the market, which will help the reinsurer strengthen its Hybrid Collaboration strategy.
