Tareq Hussein has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior Executive Officer (SEO) of MENA RE, a fully owned subsidiary of Doha Insurance Group ( DIG) established at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Hussein has been part of MENA RE for a decade, having joined the company as an Engineering & Political Violence Underwriter.
Since then, the executive has held a number of positions increasing in responsibility, including Underwriter- Political Violence & Specialty Lines, Head of Specialty Lines, and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO), his most recent role.
Commenting on his appointment, Hussein said: “It is a privilege to take on this role, and I’m grateful to our Board of Directors for their continuous trust and confidence.
“I look forward to working alongside our talented team as we continue to strengthen MENA RE, deepen our partnerships, and deliver sustainable value to our clients, brokers, and stakeholders across the region.”
