The Baldwin Group appoints CAC’s Paul Sparks to its Board of Directors

The Baldwin Group, an independent insurance brokerage and advisory firm, has announced the appointment of Paul Sparks, Executive Chairman of CAC Group, to its Board of Directors, effective January 1st 2026.

The Baldwin GroupThe appointment follows the recently completed merger between The Baldwin Group and specialty insurance brokerage CAC Group, comprising CAC Specialty and CAC Agency, with a total upfront consideration of $1.026 billion.

Sparks brings nearly 40 years of underwriting and broking experience. He has served as Executive Chairman of CAC Group since its founding in 2019.

Prior to that, Sparks spent 25 years at McGriff, where he held several leadership positions, including founder and head of the financial services division.

Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Vice President at Aon Corporation and as a Customer Group Practice Leader at Chubb.
