The Fidelis Partnership (TFP), a specialty insurance and reinsurance group, together with Pine Walk, its managing general agent (MGA) platform, has opened a new office at Grace Hall in London.
Grace Hall is a Grade II listed building on Leadenhall Street in the City of London, originally established in 1927 as the London base for the family-owned banking firm Grace & Co. The building has now been restored and reopened as a workplace for financial and insurance market participants.
Located near Lloyd’s of London, the new office has been designed to support closer working between brokers and underwriters. A key feature is the former Banking Hall, now converted into a Broker Lounge.
The space is intended for meetings, private discussions, and informal interaction between brokers and underwriting teams from both TFP and Pine Walk MGAs.
The relocation brings Pine Walk’s staff together in a single central London location, moving from its previous base on Lime Street. Within the new office, Navium will occupy the first floor, while other Pine Walk MGAs will be based across the remaining floors.
Pine Walk, launched in 2017, operates a platform that supports managing general agents by providing underwriting infrastructure, operational support, and regulatory services for specialist insurance businesses. It currently oversees 16 MGAs, with a further addition recently announced.
In 2025, the platform expanded by launching five new MGAs and increased gross written premium to $1.0 billion, compared with $0.9 billion in 2024. This growth reflects continued activity across its portfolio and ongoing development of its MGA model.
Michael Davern, UK CUO & Group Head of D&F Property and Energy of The Fidelis Partnership, said: “Opening this office at the historic Grace Hall is another milestone moment in the outstanding growth of both TFP and the Pine Walk platform. We’re incredibly excited to welcome our broking partners to the Banking Hall at Grace Hall; in renovating Grace Hall we are bringing back a storied City location while creating a space that embodies our groupwide focus on cultivating collaboration.
“The ability to cross-sell products across our diverse lines of business and to build bespoke specialty solutions is a key strategic priority for TFP and a core characteristic of our underwriting leadership. We also believe strongly in the unparalleled value of person-to-person underwriting and negotiating. At Grace Hall’s Broker Lounge, this collaboration will take centre stage as we continue to solve critical and complex market needs with nimble and creative underwriting solutions which we can allocate to our capacity partners and consortia.”
