Matts will be responsible for directing its corporate affairs function, including overseeing how the business communicates with internal and external audiences. Her role will encompass corporate reputation, employee communications and the development of a company-wide communications approach intended to support its future expansion.

TFP explained that the position will involve working across several areas of the organisation, including its executive leadership, Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Legal, Talent, Sustainability and Marketing teams.

The appointment brings more than 20 years of corporate affairs and communications experience to TFP, with Matts having previously worked in senior positions across several international financial services and investment organisations.

Her career includes serving as Managing Director for EMEA Corporate Communications and Marketing at Hines, alongside an earlier appointment as Managing Director and EMEA Head of Corporate Affairs at Nomura in London. She has also worked as Managing Director of Corporate Communications at BlackRock in New York, in addition to holding senior roles at SThree plc, UBS and HSBC.

O’Riordan commented: “TFP has a powerful story to tell and, as we continue to scale and evolve into a more global business, communicating that story with impact and consistency to colleagues and external stakeholders is increasingly important. Rebecca brings significant experience advising and supporting businesses through periods of growth and milestone moments and will strengthen our capabilities across Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Corporate Finance. We are delighted to welcome her to TFP.”

Matts added: “TFP is an impressive business at an exciting stage in its evolution. I look forward to working with colleagues across the organisation to build on its already strong reputation and help shape their story and how the business communicates as it continues to execute its ambitious strategy.”
