Property and casualty insurer, The Hartford has appointed Jack Bardrick as Head of Distribution for Global Specialty International.
As Head of Distribution, Bardrick will be responsible for distribution across Hartford’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 1221.
Additionally, the role will also see him drive profitable growth as planned across the Syndicate’s market leading specialisms, which will be achieved through teamwork, collaborating with key broker partners and leveraging the unique strengths across the UK business and International Group.
In a statement, Bardrick, said: “I leave a brilliant team at Hiscox who I’m confident have a bright future ahead. I’d like to share a genuine thank you to my brokers and colleagues – there are too many to thank specifically here – but you know who you are. Thank you for a great few years, now on to the next chapter!”
During his time at Hiscox, Bardrick held the role of Schemes Sales Manager, where he led the firms London Scheme business, serving commercial personal customers.
Prior to Hiscox, he spent over three years working at Travelers. He joined the firm in 2016 and started out his career there as a Business Insurance Graduate, before being promoted to Senior Associate Underwriter two years later.
He was then later promoted to Broker Deals Executive, where he was responsible for generating, securing and onboarding New Broker Facility & Delegated Authority partners.
The Hartford recently posted its full-year results which included a net income of $1.8 billion, which was a 23% decrease from 2021’s $2.3 billion.
