Thierry Porté, Managing Director & Vice Chairman, J.C. Flowers & Co., and Jonathan Cox Managing Director, J.C. Flowers & Co., have joined the Board of Directors of Niyam Group, an Indian-focused reinsurance platform.
Porté and Cox bring decades of experience investing in and building leading businesses around the world through J.C. Flowers & Co., one of the most established investors in financial services.
Their appointments, underscore the strong partnership between Niyam and J.C. Flowers, the firm stated.
It also highlights a strong commitment to establishing a specialised reinsurer tailored for India and other emerging high growth markets.
The addition of Porté and Cox is expected to enhance Niyam’s governance, challenge our thinking, and advance the group’s long-term ambitions.
