Property & casualty insurer, Tokio Marine HCC has announced the appointments of Scott McEwen, Iain Farries, James Harper and Jamie Tamsett as part of its senior team.
McEwen was named as Deputy Head of Delegated Property and brings over twenty years of property insurance experience to this new role as prior to this position he held roles at AXIS, where he led the UK and European Property unit.
Farries joins as Senior Underwriter with over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, his career has included roles at Royal London Mutual, AXA Insurance, John Holman & Son’s, Equity Red Star, Novae and AXIS.
Harper has almost 20 years in the insurance industry, his expertise stems from his more than 17 years in underwriting, 15 of which were at Lloyd’s Syndicates and AXIS.
The Delegated Property claims team has also grown with the addition of Jamie Tamsett, who joins as Senior Claims Adjuster. He will report to Clive Jackson, Head of International Claims.
These new hires will be under the direction of Stuart Heath, Head of Delegated Property, and Simon Button, Chief Underwriting Officer, London Market division of Tokio Marine HCC.
Tamsett has worked in the insurance industry for 35 years in a variety of claims positions, most recently as the Delegated Claims Manager for AXIS. He has also served on several Lloyd’s Market Association committees.
