Tokio Marine HCC Specialty Group announces series of senior appointments

Tokio Marine HCC (TMHCC) Specialty Group has announced a series of appointments and promotions.

Tokio Marine HCCIn London, Martha Crowhurst has been promoted to Senior Contingency Underwriter and will head up the London Market operation.

Having been a part of the Contingency team for seven years, Crowhurst has a wide amount of experience and knowledge within the industry.

Within this new role she will be responsible for building and maintaining TMHCC’s Specialty London Market Contingency business, and she will report to Neil Paddon, Head of Non-North American Contingency business.

Meanwhile, also joining Crowhurst in London is Joseph Bell who has taken on the role of Assistant Underwriter, Contingency.

He joins from Fidelis where he served in a similar role and has six years of experience within underwriting Contingency risks. He will report to Crowhurst and will also be responsible for servicing the London Market Contingency business.

Lastly, in Dusseldorf, Farbod Bayat has joined as Sports and Entertainment Underwriter. Within this new role, he will be responsible for managing the German- based Sports Disability and Contingency business, working with the wider European team and adding to existing expertise in London, Paris, Barcelona and Brussels.

Bayat joins from Liberty Specialty Markets, and has nine years of experience in underwriting specialty risks, particularly within the Accident and Health sector.
