TransRe shifts Professional Liability, Casualty teams

TransRe has changed its casualty/liability team structure in an effort to take advantage of market opportunities and deliver improved service.

transre-logoKeith Trigg is promoted to Global Casualty leader having first joined the firm in 2001.

This newly-created portfolio management role will see him report to Liz Geary, President of Global Portfolio Management.

Trigg will continue to manage the UK General Liability book of business continue to report to Doug Murray

TransRe has also adjusted its professional liability structure and promoted Brian Finlay to the role of Global Professional Liability leader.

Finlay joined TransRe in 2005 and was most recently as manager of the US D&O/E&O treaty department. In this newly created global role, Brian will report to Liz Geary, President of Global Portfolio Management.

Danny Hojnowski is promoted to take over Brian’s role as US D&O/E&O Treaty department manager.

Lastly, Nick Tzaneteas is set to retire after having served the company since 1993.

He is described as having been instrumental in developing TransRe’s professional liability portfolio, as well as guiding multiple teams through challenging cycles of the market.
