To better support the underwriting of a growing line of business and enhance product and service offerings, TransRe, a global reinsurer, has announced the promotion of Tina Kališnik to Global Portfolio Leader, Cyber, and Diana Liu to US Cyber Underwriting Leader.
Tina Kališnik, who joined TransRe in 2016, has played a key role in building the company’s European professional liability business and expanding its client base, with a strong emphasis on cyber exposures.
In her new role as Global Portfolio Leader, she will continue to manage local cyber and professional liability client and broker relationships.
Tina is recognised for her technical expertise and collaborative approach. She is based in TransRe’s Zurich office and holds a degree in Accounting & Auditing from the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Economics.
Diana Liu started her career at TransRe in 2019 in the actuarial department and joined the US Professional Liability underwriting team in 2022, focusing on cyber.
She has been pivotal in integrating new cyber analytics and modelling capabilities into the underwriting process, in addition to her underwriting and marketing responsibilities.
Diana is based in TransRe’s New York office and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
