TransRe has announced numerous changes to its regional leadership teams, including the appointment of Louise Rose as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TransRe London Limited (TransRe London).
Her appointment is effective September 1st, 2019 and sees Rose take over from Geoff Peach, who is retiring after 27 years with TransRe.
Rose’s appointment, as well as other changes announced by TransRe are designed to better position the reinsurer to take advantage of both current and future market opportunities. She joined TransRe in 1997 from the National Vulcan Engineering Insurance Group, and during her time with TransRe has worked across multiple lines of business.
TransRe has also named Kyle Rhodes CEO of TransRe Asia Pacific, a newly created position. He will be responsible for the oversight of four regional offices, and will support the regional team as they develop and expand their customer and broker relationships. He joined the firm in 2006 from Employers Re, and formed and led the National & Specialty team at TransRe’s US Custom division before leading that division for four years until 2016.
Both Rose and Rhodes will report to Paul Bonny, President of TransRe’s European, Middle Eastern, African and Asia Pacific businesses.
Replacing Rhodes as Global Head of Business Development, Francesca Marc-Antonio joins TransRe from reinsurance broker JLT Re, where she served as Global Head of Client Relationship Management. Prior to JLT Re, she spent 17 years with reinsurer Swiss Re, where she served as Head of Marketing for the U.S. P&C Broker team, and also Head of the Global Broker Group.
In her new role, Marc-Antonio will report to President and CEO of TransRe, Mike Sapnar.
