According to industry reports, reinsurer Trust Re has announced the appointment of Daniel Stanko as Senior Underwriter, Treaty, within its Cyprus office, reporting to the general manager of the Cyprus branch, Sinisa Lovrincevic.
1asig.ro reports that Stanko brings 16 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience to the Bahrain-based reinsurer, having previously worked at SAVA Insurance Company and TRIGLAV Re.
In his new role he will lead the firm’s underwriting team responsible for treaty risks from Central and Eastern Europe, South Eastern Europe, Russia, and also the Commonwealth of Independent States countries.
Lovrincevic, commented; “We are very pleased to welcome Daniel on board; he brings with him a wealth of experience and we are confident that he will add value to the TRUST Re team and to our business partners, especially those in CEE, SEE, Russia and CIS serviced by the Cyprus Branch Office.”
While a statement from the reinsurer said; “Daniel’s role is a key part of the growing and experienced team in Cyprus Branch Office, tasked with ensuring consistent delivery of services across all TRUST Re’s Regional Centres and achievement of strategic goals in compliance with regulatory and company standards.”
