Tysers, a specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has appointed Ben Lott to its Non-Marine team in Dubai as the company continues to strengthen its capabilities across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Reporting to Amin Basbous, CEO of Tysers Dubai, Lott will work on developing the company’s property and casualty portfolio across MENA alongside Younes Younes, who joined Tysers Dubai in December 2025. According to Tysers, the pair will support clients with risk solutions while helping to identify and develop new business opportunities for its growing Dubai operations.
Lott has 10 years of experience across the insurance and reinsurance markets, with expertise spanning property, casualty, construction, energy and specialty risks. He joins Tysers from Gallagher Re, where he held a senior broking position focused on placing complex facultative risks across the Middle East, London and international markets.
Earlier in his career, Lott held roles at BMS Re and Munich Re, where he developed experience in property and casualty risks as well as technical expertise across several international territories.
Tysers said the appointment further strengthens its presence in MENA and forms part of its continued investment in specialist talent to support clients operating in the region’s insurance and reinsurance markets.
Amin Basbous, CEO of Tysers Dubai, added: “I am delighted to welcome Ben to Tysers Dubai. As we continue to expand our capabilities across the region, attracting talented individuals with strong technical expertise and market relationships remains a key priority. Ben’s experience across property and facultative reinsurance, combined with his understanding of both regional and international markets, will further strengthen our offering and support our long-term growth ambitions in the Middle East.”
