Tysers, an independent Lloyd’s insurance broker and part of the Australian AUB Group, has announced the appointment of Richard Jenkins as Joint Deputy Managing Director, Marine & Aviation.
In his new position, Jenkins will work alongside his colleagues Craig Cox and Tom Walker, Joint Deputy Managing Directors, Marine & Aviation.
His appointment comes as recognition of his strong leadership within Tysers and the wider Marine community, Tysers noted.
“Jenkins will play a key role in the development and growth of our Marine & Aviation team, drawing on his extensive experience in facilitisation and digitalisation,” a Tysers spokesperson commented.
The executive is highly respected for having led Tysers’ Yacht division to success, establishing it as a leading yacht broking specialist in the London market.
Jenkins became part of Tysers in 2020, when the broker acquired RFIB Group Limited, a specialist in wholesale, marine, specialty lines, and captive management
He served at RFIB Group Limited for 25 years, and became Tysers’ Director – Wholesale Marine & Aviation Division following the acquisition.
