This latest addition means Universal Property is licensed to do in business across a total of 19 states.

“We continue to execute on our strategic priorities, expand our addressable market and diversify our book of business to strengthen our foundation for the future,” said Universal Insurance Holdings, Inc. Chief Executive Officer Stephen J. Donaghy.

This announcement follows news in June 2019 that the company had secured similar permissions to operate as a licensed insurance company in the state of Wisconsin.
