Validus Specialty Underwriting Services has announced the appointment of Bob Eells as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Validus Specialty, Western World and Crop Risk Services.
A 30 year veteran of commercial insurance, Eells joins from XL Catlin where he served as Vice President, Business Solutions and Innovation.
Among his key responsibilities will be leading operations and business enablement.
Working from Validus’ New Jersey office, Eells will report to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jonathan Ritz and become a member of the organisation’s leadership team.
