Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. (Vantage), an insurance and reinsurance company, has strengthened its Insurance Leadership Team with two key appointments.
Kelly Bellitti has been appointed Chief Pricing and Portfolio Actuary, while David Valzania has taken on the role of Chief Underwriting Officer.
These appointments are effective immediately, with both Bellitti and Valzania joining the Insurance Leadership Team and reporting to Alex Blanco, the Insurance Chief Executive.
In her new role, Bellitti will oversee the strategic management of Vantage’s insurance portfolio and continue leading the insurance pricing actuary team.
She will refine portfolio underwriting strategies in collaboration with underwriting leaders, ensuring they align with business goals.
Additionally, Bellitti will work closely with the data, analytics, and technology teams to enhance data-driven underwriting and portfolio management.
She joined Vantage in 2021 as Senior Vice President and Chief Pricing Actuary for Insurance. Prior to this, she held various leadership roles at AXA XL, where she most recently served as Global Head of Financial Lines and Cyber Pricing.
Her career began at Transatlantic Reinsurance and Guy Carpenter. Bellitti is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Valzania, in his new role, will oversee the alignment of Vantage’s insurance and underwriting strategies. He will work closely with the insurance leadership team to enhance efficiency and profitability, and he will spearhead the development of underwriting policies, standards, and governance.
He joins Vantage from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance, where he was Senior Vice President of Multinational. Prior to this, he held several senior management roles at AIG, including President and CEO of the Bermuda division. Valzania also served as a Senior Vice President at Marsh earlier in his career.
