InterContinental Insurance Brokers, LLC, a private client services division of Venbrook Insurance Services, has promoted Christopher D. Tannas to Senior Vice President/ National Director, and Mackenzie Rooney to Vice President. At the same time, the company has also appointed Marie Matterazzo as National Business Development Manager adding bench strength to its Private Client Services business.
Tannas, Rooney, and Matterazzo will all report to Tom Sleeper, Executive Vice President and Head of Select Commercial Business & Private Client Services.
Tannas brings 19 years of personal lines industry expertise towards his new role. As SVP, National Director he will lead the Private Client Services group, where he will oversee all national personal insurance, including new business, sales and growth, accounts, and claims management.
Rooney brings 12 years of insurance experience towards the role. As VP, Rooney will play a key role in supporting the Private Client Services group in developing strategic business plans for client retention, account management, and services.
In addition, Matterazzo joins InterContinental with 16 year’s of underwriting experience. As National Business Development Manager, Matterazzo will work on expanding business partnerships, as well as supporting the team, and driving product knowledge and education.
