Tysers, an independent Lloyd’s broker and member of the Australian AUB Group, has announced the appointment of Vicky Ivanova as head of its US Casualty and US Healthcare business.

Ivanova will leverage her 10 years’ broking experience in placing complex risks across the US Casualty and Healthcare markets to help drive Tysers’ strategic expansion of the practice

The executive, skilled in building market and client relationships, returns to Tysers from Price Forbes, where she specialised in working with healthcare providers, nursing homes, and miscellaneous healthcare and cross-class liability clients.

Prior to Price Forbes, Ivanova was an Associate Director at Tysers and a Senior Broker before that. Before that, she worked at AFL and RKH Specialty, at each in broking roles.

Ivanova’s approach to creating and obtaining effective insurance solutions for clients is based on a partnership model.

Her professional experience and qualifications in risk management and risk analysis allow her to assist clients with their business growth and planning objectives, Tysers stated.

Jason Collins, Senior Managing Director, Specialty, Markets & AUB Wholesale Tysers, commented: “I am thrilled to welcome Vicky back to Tysers. Her appointment bolsters an already strong Management Risk team and will support our ambitious expansion plans to support clients in the US Casualty and Healthcare sectors.

“She is an extremely talented and experienced broker and her commitment to superior client service is a perfect fit for Tysers. Vicky is just one of our recent returners, highlighting what a great place Tysers is to work.”

Ivanova added: “I am absolutely delighted to be back at Tysers and have enjoyed a wonderful welcome from the team. Tysers’ commitment to developing unique and specialist products, a culture of true partnership with our clients and an entrepreneurial spirit were major factors in driving my return.

“I could not be more thrilled about our ambitions and growth plans in the Healthcare and Casualty classes and look forward to sharing the exciting products that we are creating in this space soon!”
