Vig Re has announced Tomasz Rowicki as its new board director, as the reinsurer seeks to further strengthen the experience of its board.
Rowicki, who has over 15 years experience in the reinsurance and insurance industry, currently serves as a Member of the Managing Board of Compensa Non-Life Lithuania and is responsible for underwriting, reinsurance, claims and IT.
Johannes Martin Hartmann, VIG Re’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, said; “I know Tomasz for more than 12 years and appreciate his deep knowledge of reinsurance industry and his impressive track record as a manager. I am delighted to have him with us.”
Rowicki joined Vienna Insurance Group in 2003, when he started as reinsurance specialist of Compensa Poland.
From 2006 he managed the reinsurance departments of Compensa and PZM, and in 2012 Rowicki played a pivotal role in establishing VIG’s Baltic non-life undertakings.
