W. R. Berkley Corporation, a U.S. domiciled insurance holding company, has announced the appointments of John Littzi as senior vice president, deputy general and Neil Keenan as vice president, senior counsel, effective immediately.
Keenan takes over from Littzi who has served as vice president, senior counsel since 2013, having joined the company in 2011.
During his time with the firm, Littzi has taken on additional responsibilities year after year, participating in a number of corporate and investment transactions. Most recently, he expanded his role within the legal unit and broadened his engagement with the company’s operating units. Prior to W. R. Berkley, he served as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Keenan joined the firm in 2014 and since 2018 has served as assistant vice president, counsel. During this time, he has worked on a diverse group of projects, involving corporate transactions, employment and litigation matters, underwriting concerns, and regulatory issues. Prior to W. R. Berkley, he served as an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
