United Insurance Brokers Limited (UIB), an international reinsurance and reinsurance broker, has announced the appointment of David Waller as Managing Director of its Marine division.
An essential member of the UIB’s Marine team, Waller has played a pivotal role in the division’s success and expansion, UIB highlights.
The executive will leverage his extensive industry experience and history of delivering exceptional results for clients to guide the division into its next chapter.
Waller will also continue in his role as Co-Head of North America, where he focuses on developing innovative solutions that provide market-leading coverage for businesses in the region.
Under his leadership, the Marine team is set to continue building on its established capabilities, prioritising innovation, superior client service, and the expansion of its international footprint.
This transition represents a smooth and well-planned handover, ensuring continuity for clients and partners, UIB noted.
Andre Little, who has led the Marine division for almost three decades, will be taking on the newly created role of Senior Advisor, President, Marine Division.
In his new position, Little will remain closely involved with the division at a senior level. He will be instrumental during the transition period and will remain a key, reliable contact for long standing partners.
Commenting on the appointment, Little said: “I am pleased to pass this baton to David, who has been a trusted and highly capable colleague. I have every confidence in his ability to lead the team forward and build on the success we have achieved.”
