Great American Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurer, has announced the appointment of Nattakorn Wattanaumphaipong as Senior Director, Technical Underwriting for its Singapore Branch.
In his new role, Wattanaumphaipong will oversee technical underwriting and portfolio management, executing underwriting strategies that support the Singapore Branch’s business expansion plan.
He will collaborate with the Singapore Branch CEO and Deputy CEO to drive product development and identify opportunities to enter existing and new markets for profitable growth.
Wattanaumphaipong brings more than 20 years of industry experience, holding senior leadership roles in management, reinsurance underwriting, and business development across Asia Pacific.
He joins from Canopius Group, where he most recently served as Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer, Asia Pacific.
Prior to that, Wattanaumphaipong served as Head of Property Underwriting Asia at Swiss Re.
