Westfield Specialty International, a specialty insurance provider, has announced the promotion of Katie MacGregor to Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In her role, MacGregor will lead operational functions across the international business — covering the UK, Middle East, and Europe — working closely with senior leadership to support growth in these markets. She will report to Anthony Baldwin, President of Westfield Specialty International.
She joined Westfield Specialty in 2016, serving as Head of Claims for the past decade, where she played a key role in the organisation’s success.
Prior to that, she spent twelve years at Liberty Specialty in senior claims leadership roles, most recently as Deputy Head of Claims/Head of Commercial Claims.
Baldwin commented, “As we expand into new markets, build out our portfolios, and widen our distribution network, Katie’s deep operational expertise, attention to detail, and ability to drive best‑in‑class service make her ideally suited to take on the COO position.
“Her leadership will be critical as we continue to scale our international platforms and deliver the responsiveness and service excellence our brokers and clients expect.”
