Whitespace, the digital e-trading platform for brokers and re/insurers, has announced the establishment of its new Advisory Board.

whitespaceThe company’s new board brings together Andrew Brooks, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ascot; Stephen Catlin, Chairman and CEO of Convex; Jason Keen, President of Chubb Global Markets; Craig Kingaby, CEO of Meridian Risk Solutions; James Masterton, CEO of Ardonagh Specialty; and Steve McGill, CEO of McGill & Partners.

Members of the Whitespace Advisory Board are scheduled to meet on a quarterly basis with representation from Whitespace to advise on maturing the global offering of the platform.

After passing the 100 customer mark in July, Whitespace currently has 120 customers based on three continents, with those clients writing and placing across all classes of business. Since the beginning of this year, Whitespace has seen three major functionality releases and 29 minor releases.

Also in July, the company revealed that it had been granted “fully recognised” status by Lloyd’s in its list of approved systems for the electronic placing mandate for managing agents.

Whitespace Chief Platform Officer, Marcus Broome, commented: “As we started our second year of operations, it became clear that the global potential of the platform could best be realised by taking advice and support from senior figures from within the insurance market. The agreement of this group of customers to join our new board is a huge compliment and shows their trust in our ability to be able to deliver a product that will suit any organisation, in any location.”
