Willis appoints Alex Benson as Head of Construction and Natural Resources Claims in Asia

WTW subsidiary, Willis, has confirmed the appointment of Alex Benson as Head of Construction and Natural Resources Claims for Asia, with the role commencing on 6 April 2026.

Operating from Singapore, Benson will join the regional leadership team and report directly to Alex Rosati, Head of Claims for Asia at Willis.

The appointment will see Benson responsible for supporting clients with specialist claims guidance, advocacy and dispute resolution. His role includes close collaboration with Willis’ Asia-based claims professionals, as well as coordination with the firm’s global network of claims specialists.

Alongside this, Benson will work closely with the re/insurance markets to help deliver a consistent and effective claims service for clients across the region.

Announcing the appointment, Alex Rosati, Head of Claims for Asia at Willis, said: “Alex Benson brings a wealth of experience in insurance claims adjustments with major adjuster organisations, civil construction projects and natural resources losses in multiple jurisdictions. His addition to our claims team in Asia will benefit our clients, particularly as companies in the construction and natural resources industries face increasingly complex risk challenges.”

Benson has built his career through a series of senior roles at leading international loss adjusting firms. After starting out in the UK, he has spent the past 10 years based in Asia, earning recognition among clients, re/insurers and industry stakeholders. He holds Chartered Loss Adjuster (CILA) status and is a certified member of FUEDI, the European Federation of Loss Adjusting Experts, which brings together 15 national loss adjusting associations
