Willis, a WTW business, has announced the appointment of Tony Simm as the Head of Facultative for Europe and GB.
In his new position, Simm will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality client solutions across various territories and lines of business.
He has also been tasked with setting the growth strategy for the Europe and GB Facultative teams, attracting and developing top-tier broking talent, and strengthening relationships with cedants and reinsurers.
The executive brings two decades of industry experience, having previously served as Head of Facultative for GB within Willis’ Direct & Facultative business.
His career includes senior reinsurance broking positions at Guy Carpenter and Gallagher Re, where he gained deep technical expertise and a strong track record of developing innovative facultative placements.
Simm will report to Garret Gaughan, Global Head of Direct &Facultative at Willis, who commented: “Tony has been an exceptional asset to our Facultative business, and the expansion of his role reflects both his leadership and our strategic priorities.
