19th March 2020 - Author: Luke Gallin

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has launched a new community group dedicated to the delivery of data, knowledge and solutions to its business aviation clients, called A Class.

The new business aviation community has a focus on both data analytics and risk strategy and is designed to provide business aviation operators with the required data and expertise to assist with the analysis and mitigation of risks.

According to the re/insurance broker, A Class also offers an accessible data platform that promotes the strengthening of risk management capabilities; innovative solutions to key global issues, such as climate and sustainability; industry insights and market bulletins designed to evaluate risk and sector landscape; and regular events that aim to broaden the debate and drive action.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Aerospace at WTW, John Rooley, said: “As business aviation clients come to terms with the unprecedented risks associated with the Coronavirus pandemic, Willis Towers Watson Global Aerospace is dedicated to supporting them beyond the scope of the traditional insurance transaction.

“By combining data analytics with a greater understanding of the industry risk landscape and insurance market trends, A Class is a key solution to enable business aviation clients to mitigate risks and maintain their operations in today’s market. Today’s announcement continues to demonstrate our leadership in the aviation sector.”
