Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has named Bibi de Vries as its new Head of Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), effective immediately.
Succeeding Bart den Hartog, who is leaving the firm to join elipsLife in Zürich, Switzerland, de Vries will be based in Amstelveen in the Netherlands, and will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and driving expansion across WTW’s Benelux markets.
A member of the Dutch Parliament from 1994 until 2006, she then spent nine years at financial services company Achmea, before joining WTW in 2016 as a senior consultant with a focus on business development.
