WTW, a global advisory, broking and solutions company, has announced structural changes to the EMEA regional operations of its Insurance Consulting and Technology business, with the establishment of dedicated EMEA P&C and EMEA Life businesses.

WTW logoThe restructure responds to technological disruption and client demand, aiming to enable deeper expertise, more consistent delivery, and innovation at greater scale and speed, while creating a stronger platform for sustainable growth.

As part of the changes, Tim Rourke has been appointed EMEA P&C Leader and Michael Kluettgens has been named EMEA Life Leader within the Insurance Consulting and Technology business.

In his new role, Rourke will drive growth, deepen collaboration across EMEA offices, and connect WTW’s insurance innovation and AI capabilities to the evolving needs of P&C clients in the region.

He brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience and has spent the past eight years at WTW. Most recently, he served as UK Head of P&C Pricing, Product, Claims and Underwriting in the Insurance Consulting and Technology business.

Prior to joining WTW, he was Head of Personal Lines Underwriting at LV= and also held roles at Ageas and Standard Life.

Kluettgens will focus on strengthening the Insurance Consulting and Technology Life consulting proposition, supporting clients with advanced analytics, AI enablement, and end-to-end technology solutions.

He brings a strong track record of advising global insurers on M&A and financial reporting. He has spent nearly 15 years at WTW, most recently serving as Divisional Leader for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, Insurance Consulting & Technology.

Frank Schepers, Global Leader, Insurance Consulting and Technology, WTW, said, “Strengthening our P&C and Life leadership reflects the scale of demand for integrated, technology-enabled insurance solutions across EMEA. Tim and Michael bring exceptional client insight, deep industry expertise and proven leadership. Together, they will help drive our next phase of growth as we sharpen our focus on the unique needs of our clients and accelerate AI adoption across the insurance value chain.”

Tammy Richardson, formerly European Regional Leader for Insurance Consulting and Technology, will assume a broader role focused on executing the company’s global AI transformation strategy.

Schepers added, “We take this opportunity to thank Tammy for successfully leading the region during the last four years and the central role she has played in the evolution and growth of the business. In her new position, Tammy will lead in ensuring AI is successfully embedded across the organisation, as well as overseeing the development and delivery of transformative client technologies and propositions.”
