WTW - Willis Towers Watson logoScott Burnett, CCO for risk and broking at WTW, said “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Gingell as our global affinity leader. Chris takes the helm at an incredibly exciting time for our Affinity business as we continue to solidify our proposition and support our clients in accelerating their own growth and adoption of technology.”

He added: “This appointment further demonstrates our commitment to investing in talent across our business as we continue to develop our Grow, Simplify and Transform strategy.”

Gingell previously worked as head of strategy for WTW where he helped shape many of the company’s initiatives.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Gingell has held multiple positions within WTW. He joined the firm in 2009 as a partner in its strategic risk consulting team, working with a focus on risk, analytics, and insurance strategy for large and global companies.

Gingell then moved to strategy and corporate development in 2016, staying there until 2019. From there, he became head of strategy until this month, from which he accedes to his new position.

WTW’s website spells out its affinity program. The company says that its model is, “[…] not about sourcing products and finding clients with a database to sell to. We win through client engagement. We team with clients as solution providers to establish a deep understanding of their business challenges and build insurance programs tailored to their needs, creating a virtuous circle that ultimately helps our clients improve financial results.”
