13th July 2023 - Author: Jack Willard

Broking and solutions firm WTW has appointed two senior directors, Maryellen Allegretti and Patrick Anderson-Higgins, within the firm’s Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) operation in North America.

Both appointments further bolster ICT’s expertise, technical knowledge, and presence as it strengthens its position as an industry leader in the Personal and Commercial Lines P&C insurance sector.

Allegretti brings more than two decades of experience collaborating with financial services and insurance clients towards her new role as the North America Personal Lines Property and Casualty Sales Director at WTW. In the role, she will drive growth and thought leadership for ICT Personal Lines.

In her most recent position as Assistant Vice President at Verisk Analytics, she demonstrated her ability to foster collaborative thought leadership initiatives while establishing strategic partnerships with senior executives and key stakeholders to drive growth.

Before she joined Verisk Analytics, Allegretti held senior positions at Equifax and Acxiom Corporation, where she leveraged data, analytics, and technology solutions to overcome business challenges and achieve optimal client outcomes.

Moreover, Anderson-Higgins joins the broking firm as the Commercial Insurance Property & Casualty Sales Director for ICT North America, where he will closely collaborate with all of ICT’s Proposition Leaders and particularly with WTW’s Product, Pricing, Claims and Underwriting (PPCU) Leadership to develop and execute sales strategies.

Overall, he brings over a decade of experience in the insurance, consulting and technology industries.

Anderson-Higgins recently held senior positions at Celonis and EY. In these roles, he drew upon deep technical consulting expertise across all functions of the insurance value chain to aid leading global carriers, brokerages, MGAs and wholesalers in transforming their business models.

It is also worth noting that Anderson-Higgins is familiar with WTW, having served in a Senior Consultant role at the company for three years.

“We are excited to welcome Maryellen and Patrick to our expanding team, bringing with them a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective in both Personal and Commercial Lines including a deep understanding of our sector’s technology needs,” commented Nic Beaudoin, North America P&C Sales & Growth Leader at ICT, WTW.

“Their extensive leadership experience, deep industry knowledge, and client-centric approach align perfectly with our commitment to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. With their strategic insights and technical proficiency, we are poised to attract new clients and elevate our position as industry thought leaders.”
