WTW names Alex Rosati as Head of Claims Asia, CRB

Global re/insurance broker WTW has appointed Alex Rosati as the Head of Claims Asia for its Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) business, effective August 1st, 2024. Rosati will succeed Neil Thomas who retired earlier this year.

Rosati will be based in Singapore, and report directly to Luke Ware, Head of CRB Asia at WTW.

Ware commented on the appointment, “The Claims function is not only integral to our client service offerings, but it also plays a vital role in our business strategy and our ‘Smarter Way to Risk’ proposition to unlock value for our clients.

“This approach aligns our focus on specialisation, delivering exceptional client service, data and analytics, to help companies achieve optimised outcomes in their risk management strategy. Alex will be a valuable addition to our leadership team in Asia.”

In his role with WTW, Rosati’s remit includes a focus on all aspects of the firm’s claims proposition, including the development and execution of WTW’s claims management strategy across Asia.

The broker added, “His expertise will be pivotal in managing complex claims for WTW across all lines of business, ensuring alignment with clients’ expectations and negotiating effectively with insurers.”

Rosati is an industry veteran with over three decades of extensive experience. Currently, he is the Head of Claims Solutions, Specialty Lines, for Marsh in Asia.

His background includes serving in claims broking, as well as being a former claims manager, underwriter and litigator, advocating for policyholders and insurance companies in the US, the U.K. the E.U. and Bermuda.
