Global advisory, broking and solutions company WTW, has announced the appointment of Anthony Borgman to the newly created role of Head of Affinity Great Britain.
This strategic move marks a significant step in the expansion of WTW’s Global Affinity business, following the recent appointment of Paul Lubbers as the US Head of Affinity & Programs.
Based in London, Borgman will report to Eddy Castles, Managing Director for GB Retail, and Chris Gingell, Global Head of Affinity.
In his new role, Borgman will be responsible for driving WTW’s growth in the Affinity and Embedded Insurance sectors in the UK.
Borgman brings an impressive 25 years of experience to the position, with a primary focus on Affinity partnerships. Prior to joining WTW, he served as the head of global sales operations and channel partnerships at Collinson Group, where he played a key role in the substantial growth of new client relationships and programs within the insurance division.
His previous experience includes five years at Assurant, where he initially joined as a business development leader and was later promoted to the role of head of new business development for Europe. During this time, he successfully established enduring partnerships with major financial institutions and technology brands.
Chris Gingell, Global Head of Affinity at WTW, expressed confidence in Borgman’s appointment, stating, “With his tremendous track record within the Affinity space, delivering successful programs and customer loyalty for clients across a wide range of verticals, Anthony is well placed to lead and further develop our team and proposition across Great Britain.
