You Re, a managing general underwriter of US property and casualty treaty reinsurance, has announced the addition of two new capacity partners, rated A+ by S&P and A by AM Best, with combined capital of more than $1.3 billion.
You Re is a full-service reinsurance MGU, underwriting and managing treaty portfolios on behalf of its capacity partners. It combines specialist underwriting and actuarial expertise with technology-driven, bespoke portfolio management.
The new capacity marks the next stage in the evolution of You Re’s rated balance sheet strategy. It also provides cedants and brokers with greater flexibility on line size, structure and security requirements as You Re continues to expand its US treaty portfolio.
