Zurich Insurance has announced the appointment of Debra Burford as Global Head of Financial Lines, Cyber, and Credit Lines Claims.
In her new role, Burford will join the Global Large & Complex Claims team, focusing on driving excellence in Financial Lines Claims worldwide. She will collaborate with Claims and Underwriting teams globally to ensure Zurich maintains its high service standards for customers.
Burford brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to her new role. She joined Zurich in 2019 as Chief Underwriting Officer and most recently served as Regional Chief Underwriting Officer, APAC.
Prior to Zurich, Burford spent seven years at AIG, where she most recently served as Head of Liabilities AIG Singapore.
Earlier in her career, she held various roles at ASL, Fisher Jeffries, and ANZ.
