Zurich, a leading global insurance provider, has announced the appointment of Mattias Fritz as the new CEO of Zurich Nordic, effective from November 1, 2023.

This move underscores Zurich’s commitment to supporting customers and brokers in navigating the ever-changing risk landscape, with a strong emphasis on further growth in the region.

In his new role, Fritz will take the helm in leading a team of approximately 200 colleagues across Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

He will work to ensure alignment with Zurich’s global strategy, succeeding Dirk De Nil, who has assumed the position of Global Head of Zurich Resilience Solutions, the company noted.

Fritz will be based in Stockholm and report to Sierra Signorelli, CEO of Commercial Insurance at Zurich.
