Accredited names Grace Meek as President of America

Accredited, a program management business operating across the US, UK and Europe, has appointed Grace Meek as the President of Accredited America, based out of New York, effective April 8th, 2024. She will report to William Spiegel, Chief Executive Officer, Accredited.

In the new role, Meek’s remit will include a focus on leading both underwriting and program management and driving further growth based on Accredited’s customer-centric and underwriting-first strategy.

Spiegel commented on the appointment, “Grace is a fantastic appointment for Accredited and it is testament to the potential of our business that we have been able to attract a leader of her calibre.

“Grace has a proven track record of growing organizations and building teams within the program space. We look forward to her energy and leadership, which I know will create new opportunities for our clients, partners and employees.”

Meek has over 30 years of program management experience and will join the global Accredited Executive Team. She will also join the Boards of Accredited Surety and Casualty Company, Inc. and Accredited Specialty Insurance Company.

Prior to this, Meek served as the CEO and President of Homesite Underwriting Managers LLC, responsible for launching and leading the company’s Program Division.

Before this, Meek worked at Allied World Assurance Group for eight years, holding a variety of leadership roles including launching and running its Program Division. She currently serves on the Target Market Association Board.

Meek added, “Accredited has a strong brand in the market, and has grown significantly in the last few years, and I was attracted by the chance to join at a time when the business is looking ahead to the next chapter of its growth.

“I look forward to working with the team and using my experience and market relationships to contribute to their exciting ambitions for Accredited in the US.”
