Global insurance broker and Fintech leader, Acrisure, has announced its acquisition of Unilink Group, the largest insurance distribution platform in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.
By completing this acquisition, Acrisure will obtain over 1,300 colleagues across Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Moldova, as well as clients within the same geography.
Founded in 2002, Unilink Group was formed as a consumer finance products distributor. By 2010, the business had diversified to an insurance distribution strategy with CEO Igor Rusinowski joining the company.
The company provides non-life and life products through a network consisting of 15,000 external agents and 2,500 points of sale and places almost seven million policies per year.
At the same time, Unilink Group also acts as a managing general agent (MGA) through its Polish and Romanian businesses.
Once the acquisition has been completed, it has been confirmed that both Rusinowski and Unlink’s current management team will continue to lead the business.
The transaction will complete pending regulatory approvals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed

At the beginning of the year, Acrisure acquired Affinity Brokers Limited.
