Specialty insurer AF Group has appointed Andrea Burns as Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO).
She joins AF Group from Allstate Insurance, where she most recently served as Director and Head of Commercial Property and Liability Product Line Management.
Additionally, she was previously Regional Product Director for Encompass Insurance and Vice President of Sales & Distribution for Zurich North America.
Prior to joining Zurich, Burns worked at Kemper Insurance, where she held the role of Head Office Underwriting Account Executive, Casualty Lines.
She began her career in the industry in 1992 working as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
