EMEA P&C will be led by Anne Deister, who will be supported by Gilles Marchal as Lead Underwriter Property South/West, and Noël Ammann as Lead Underwriter Casualty EMEA. For now, Deister will combine her regional management role, the Zurich Branch manager role, and the Lead Underwriter North/East Property role.

Jeremy Walker, the reinsurer’s Chief Underwriting Officer, will lead the Americas P&C region. Ageas Re confirms that he will be working with Vincent Rensonnet who remains Lead Underwriter Latam & Iberia, and as of November 1st, 2026, with Christian Marx, who will assume the leadership role for North America.

The International & Specialty region will be led by Christoph Spichtig, who will have the expertise of Regional Director Asia, Matthew Tong, and the Heads of the firm’s Specialty Lines: Shahrokh Shahpoori for Engineering, Michael Rüegger for Agriculture, and Sylvie Hirn and Jeremy Lilburn for Credit & Bond. Ageas Re confirms that a vacancy for International Casualty remains open.

As mentioned, the new regions will sit next to Ageas Re’s Products & Practices unit, and Pierre-Yves Dalimier will take on the role of Head of Innovation, Structured Reinsurance and Parametric, while Stéphane Nadjar remains Head of Business Development that also includes the development of MGA partnerships.

All Regional heads and the heads of Products & Practices will report to CUO Walker. Further, Stephan Rappaz continues to serve as CUO Casualty, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Regional Heads and their respective Casualty teams, in an effort to ensure consistent portfolio development.

Additionally, Ageas Re has announced some impending changes to its Management Committee, notably that the CFRO role will be split into one dedicated and enlarged CFO function, led by Jerome Carré, and a specific CRO function that will be led by Dimitri Terryn, who’s onboarding will be aligned with the closing of the sale of Ageas Re’s stake in Maybank Ageas Holdings Berhad, where he is currently CRO and Country Manager.

Lastly, Walker will join the Ageas Re Management Committee as CUO, and Petra Vynckier remains responsible for the Group Business and Retro.

“As we go into a challenging renewal season with a new organization, the teams will ensure a seamless transition to further strengthen client and partner services.

“Please join me in congratulating all colleagues with new responsibilities!” said CEO Racz.
