Global insurer and reinsurer, American International Group, Inc. (AIG), has added Donna Pearlman to the newly created role of Reinsurance Operations Lead.
In her new role, Pearlman takes on responsibility for reinsurance at AIG, reporting to Gerald Yeung, Global Head of Ceded Re Placement Operations.
She joins the re/insurer after running her own business, D.P Consulting Company, LLC, for more than two decades, where she wrote, and reviewed treaty reinsurance contracts written in multiple languages on an independent contract basis for some of the world’s largest carriers, brokers, and law firms.
During her career in the industry, Pearlman has worked at Sompo International, National Re / Gen Re, Munich Re, and also Reliance National Insurance Company.
Commenting on her new role, Pearlman said: “When this opportunity arose I knew it was the position and company for me and the place I wanted to go next in my career after running my small business for over twenty years and prior to that working for National Re/Gen Re, Munich Re and Reliance.
