Global insurer and reinsurer, American International Group has appointed Graham Fulcher as International General Insurance Chief Actuary.
Based in London, Fulcher will report to Jon Hancock, Chief Executive Officer, International General Insurance and Richard Olsen, Chief Actuary, General Insurance.
He joins AIG from Chubb where he served as Chief Actuary for Overseas General Insurance since 2016.
Prior to Chubb, he held a number of senior management roles for Willis Towers Watson’s insurance consulting business, including as Managing Director of the U.K. and Irish property and casualty and life insurance sector practice.
Earlier in Fulcher’s career he was Chief Actuary for ACE European Group, Chief Actuary of European operations for ACE Tempest Re, Group Actuary for Cox Insurance Plc and UK Actuary for Cologne Re.
Fulcher will join the company during the first quarter of 2022, becoming responsible for determining appropriate pricing, reserving, and establishing risk and actuarial objectives that are aligned with AIG’s global actuarial strategies.
