Arthur J. Gallagher & Co has announced the appointment of James Anderson as Group Managing Director of Rossborough Insurance, its personal and commercial lines broking business based in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, subject to regulatory approval.
Anderson is set to succeed Clive de la Cour who will take on the role of Chairman of Rossborough, with effect from 1 January 2018.

Anderson joined Gallagher three years ago, he currently acts as Managing Director of Brand Partners, part of Gallagher’s UK Small Business & Personal Lines division.

de la Cour commented that “with James’ extensive leadership experience, reputation for developing innovative insurance solutions and his ability to develop insurance talent, he is the right person to lead Rossborough in the next stage of its development.”
David Birch, currently Sales Director for Gallagher’s Banking Partnerships in the UK, is set to succeed Anderson; leading the banking partnerships while expanding his role into the Brand Partners division.
