The Asia Pacific operations of global insurer Allianz has announced the appointment of Anusha Thavarajah as Chief Executive Officer, Life & Health.
Based in Singapore, Thavarajah will oversee the functional development of Allianz’s Life & Health business in Asia – advancing the segment’s strong growth to meet Allianz Asia’s long-term strategic priorities in the region.
Thavarajah, who joins from AIA Berhad in Malaysia, joins with close to 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
She will report to Allianz Asia Pacific Regional CEO Solmaz Altin and serve as a member of the Allianz Asia Pacific Regional Executive Board.
Thavarajah is expected to officially take on the role in the fourth quarter of 2019.
